Who We Are

We are a group of dedicated volunteers passionate about helping "down on their luck" homeless canines find wonderful, loving forever homes. We are not a city shelter and our dogs are not housed in a shelter or central location where the general public can meet them. All of our dogs are kept in private foster homes throughout central AR. Once an application for a particular dog is approved the dog's foster parent arranges a meet and greet between the dog and the prospective adopter. All of our dogs are fully vetted prior to adoption. Many of the dogs coming into our program are somewhat lacking in the social graces and our foster parents help them begin their life changing journey of developing into your dream dog. We try to match each of our animals to the perfect home, and the perfect home to one of our dogs.

Thank you for considering adopting a homeless dog

Foster Homes Urgently Needed

If you have a loving heart and a strong desire to save a precious life, please consider taking in a "down on their luck" dog.

ARFA will pay for all necessary vet care, and provide flea and heartworm protection for your foster.

All we ask from you is that you open your hearts and homes to these helpless darlings, provide them with a safe haven, transport them to/from vet, and help us help them find their forever home by arranging visits with approved adopters.

ARFA needs you and they need you even more!
