COMMON BUT COSTLY MISTAKES...
...THE UNFORTUNATE RESULTS OF WHICH WE DEAL WITH ON A REGULAR BASIS:

1.  GETTING TWO PUPPIES AT THE SAME TIME

2.  GETTING 2 GSD PUPS OF THE SAME GENDER

3.  ADOPTING A SECOND RESCUE DOG BEFORE YOU HAVE TRAINED, SOCIALIZED, BONDED AND LEARNED ABOUT THE FIRST

4.  GETTING A SECOND DOG TO "BABY SIT" OR EXERCISE THE DOG YOU ALREADY HAVE; TYPICALLY BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME FOR THE ONE

5.  BUYING OR ADOPTING A DOG AS A GIFT OR SURPRISE FOR SOMEONE ELSE

6.  BUYING OR ADOPTING ANY DOG WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE AND AGREEMENT OF OTHER ADULTS IN THE HOME

7.  NEVER TAKING YOUR GSD OFF ITS PROPERTY

8.  LEAVING YOUR GSD OUTSIDE WHEN YOU ARE NOT HOME OR KEEPING IT IN A CLOSED ROOM (ISOLATION)

9.  MAKING EMOTIONAL OR IMPULSE CHOICES; CHOOSING A GSD STRICTLY BY THE WAY IT LOOKS

10.  GETTING A DOG FROM A PET STORE

11.  PARTICIPATING IN UNEDUCATED BREEDING

12.  SENDING YOUR DOG AWAY FOR TRAINING; IT'S BEST TO WORK WITH YOUR DOG.

DO YOU REALLY WANT TO SPEND THE NEXT 10 TO 13 YEARS LIVING WITH A MISTAKE?

BOTTOM LINE:
If you don't have time for a dog...get a cat :-)
