Sabrina is a busy young lady who is looking for a fun time! A pretty tan terrier mix, Sabrina was brought to the shelter at the tender age of 3 months when she turned up as a stray in someone’s yard. An exam revealed a skin condition, for which she has been treated and has recovered. Sabrina was adopted and brought back after a day by someone who was unprepared for her boundless energy. She’s back in the shelter at 4-months-old and is ready to go to a home where she’ll be appreciated as the playful and lovable terrier she is.

Fifi is a fluffy tortie-tabby cat in need of a home because her owner signed a no-pet lease in their rental. A 3-year-old female, Fifi is somewhat shy with new people, but with patient and kind attention she’ll soon fit into a new routine. She loves to be petted, which is a good thing, since she’ll need regular brushing and combing to help keep her beautiful coat at its best. She’s been good in the house and gotten along well with kids.

Jiggly is a handsome puppy who’s looking for a special person to love. A 5-month-old white and red pit bull, Jiggly was brought to the shelter as a stray nearly two months ago when he was just a wee lad, and he remained an unclaimed stray. It was soon discovered that this playful and sociable guy is completely deaf. While deaf dogs can be a challenge to own, this sweetheart has plenty of potential to be a great companion for someone who loves pit bulls and is able to give him the special training he’ll need to live a happy life. A happy and smart boy, Jiggly has the most soulful black-rimmed eyes. He loves his toys, playtime and going for walks. An understanding and patient adult home where Jiggly will be the center of attention will be rewarded with many years of loyalty and love.

Buster is a Chow Chow mix who lost his home because someone in the family was allergic. Just about a year old, Buster has a fluffy, red coat and the handsome appearance of his ancestors. Chow Chows take their homes and family very seriously as well as their responsibility to protect what they love. Buster has a typical Chow temperament, in addition to being a loyal companion, he’s been good in the house and has gotten along well with other dogs. He’d do best in a home with someone who appreciates and understands this lovely and ancient breed.

Hairy Pawter is a big, bouncy boy who, at just about 9-months in age is still every bit the puppy. A shepherd mix, Hairy isn’t all that hairy, though he does have a beautiful golden-tan coat. Hairy lived in his present home for just four months but was brought to the shelter because another pet in the family didn’t along with him. He has been good with kids and other dogs, has been good in the house, and loves to go for walks. This sweet fellow seems to be a great potential family dog.

Ella is perched high in her cage, keeping an eye on all visitors so she can find the right person to take her home. A sleek, 6-year-old black female shorthair, Ella has been waiting since early December for a new, loving home since her owner had to give her up due to a health issue in the family. Ella is a bit of a loner who has been overlooked, but she would be a great companion for a human who wants to share their home with a quiet and not terribly demanding pet. A peaceful home where she can be the only animal would work out best for this pretty girl. We know the right home must be out there for Ella, and she is not giving up her search!

Sasha was given up by her lifetime owners when a family member developed allergies, Sasha is just not sure what she did wrong, but she’s been patiently waiting for a month for someone to take her home. A 4-year-old shar pei mix, Sasha is a spayed female who has been good in the house and gotten along well with kids, cats, and other dogs. She’s had some obedience training and loves to go for walks and runs with her people. If you’re looking for a sweet family dog, please consider Sasha.

Pete is a handsome boy who’s eagerly waiting for loving home. Dapper in black and white, this 2-year-old neutered shepherd/pit bull mix is as well mannered as he looks. He sits when asked, comes on command, is good in the house and has been well-socialized around people and other dogs. Pete loves affection and is very fond of being with his people. This is a really sweet guy who will be a fine best friend and loyal companion for the right person!
