Maddie

If you don’t want a dog who licks, follows you around and lays quietly by your feet Maddie is not the dog for you! If you do want a dog like that then meet sweet Maddie. She is about 1 1/2 year old yellow lab mix, who hasn’t had much one on one attention in life but is blooming now she is getting some. When I ask her to sit she does and then looks at me for what else I want. When I sit down, she lays down next to me and best of all she is crate/house trained.

She doesn’t get along with most dogs and has been known to start fights, so she’ll have to be an only dog. She’s learning her strength so please no young children either. Since she hasn’t had much attention in life she is still getting use to the walk. When I have her on a training collar she walks pretty good. Maddie is a bit nervous in the form of looking around and a bit skittish at times but listens very well to me and doesn’t pull.

Maddie still needs some work with her insecurities and socialization but I can tell all she wants is to love and be loved. If you have lots of love to give, a strong pack leader energy, some patience and time, Maddie will be the perfect little girl for you and give you lots and lots of kisses in return!!
