- I have noticed a strong trend in people surrendering their animals because they can't find a pet-friendly rental. Thought this info was good to have. Please feel free to contact us to add to the list if you know of complexes that allow pets.
- Pets911 - FREE listings of complexes that allow pets, sorted by distance from your area code. Also help (menu on right) like landlord letter, sample pet resume.
- Petrent - Pet-friendly rentals.
- Craigs List - FREE rental listings, posted by owners. Check boxes allow you to filter by Cats Ok and/or Dogs Ok. New listings daily.
- Homestore - FREE pet-friendly apartment vacancies nationwide, searchable by city - at last check, they had 3500 listed in Pasadena alone! Just type a city in the box and click search.
- Rent.com - FREE apartment rental listings (requires free registration) each notes if dogs or cats are ok, but check property details for pet weight limits. Rent.com gives you $100 when you move in.
- People with Pets - Directory of apartments, homes, and hotels that accept pets as well as links to related services and products..
- PetsRwelcome - $50 for three months of access to pets-allowed listings.
- PetOk.com -$60 for two months of access to these pet-friendly listings.
- PennySaver - FREE searching of rental classified ads. **
- Recycler - FREE searching of rental classified ads. **
- Yahoo Rentals - FREE search. Click on "More Options" to enter keyword** then after search make sure to click "All Listings" to see more than just fee-required agency ads.
- **NOTE: for these sites, use the Keywords search box. Type in "pet" or "dog" or "cat" which brings up ads with "pets ok" or "cats allowed" etc. Also brings up "no pets" and "carpets" but you can skip those!
