Happy Tales

Happy stories from Mutts & Moms adoptions.

Wink was a dog rescued out of the parking lot of the Downey shelter. She'd been hit by a car 3 months earlier but her owners never sought medical attention. Her eye was shriveled down to the size of a pea, left open and pretty gross. Our Vet removed the eye, removed a huge umbilical hernia, spayed her and did a foxtail probe to remove an embedded foxtail that had become infected. Her hair was a mess so she was groomed and after all that, adopted by Helen and Larry. They saw the magic in a little girl named Wink.
