If you've recently lost your animal outside of Clear Creek or Gilpin Counties, you should contact the animal control agency in the area where your pet was lost. We also strongly recommend that you visit shelters in person to search for your animal. Take an active role in finding your pet--put up posters, talk to neighbors, and search for your pet as soon as you can. Don't wait!
