The Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) is an all volunteer, non-profit, strictly no-kill humane organization that has been rescuing, spaying/neutering, testing, vaccinating and adopting hundreds of abandoned animals since October of 1999.

We make every effort to rehabilitate and find special homes for animals considered un-adoptable due to handicap, injury, age, and FIV or Feline Leukemia positive animals. If an animal is unable to be adopted, we will provide them a home for life.

Our mission is to provide funds for the emergency treatment of injured or sick animals that are stray, abandoned, or of unknown owner. In furtherance of our mission, we provide educational support and instruction in the prevention of cruelty to animals. The Animal Rescue Fund adheres to, and supports, spay/neuter programs. We also support local, state, and national animal protection laws.

Fostering:

Do you have room in your heart and home to help care for a homeless pet? Foster homes are desperately needed for animals awaiting permanent homes. If you would like to help out with fostering, please call for more information.

Adoptions are done by appointment only. Call 860-739-8625 or email us for a time and date. Adoption fee is $75 for one cat & $100 for two. This fee includes all vaccinations (except Feleuk), Feleuk/FIV Testing, and Spaying/Neutering.
