Hi! My name is Puff-Daddy. I am an older gentle-male poodle about 14 years old. My owner recently passed away. She was a lovely lady who spoiled me and cared for me over the last 14 years. I am now all alone and am need of a home. And I would very much like to spend my remaining years being a friend and companion to someone who would kindly take me into their home and care for me.

I am not much trouble. I eat twice a day – soft food only because I have no teeth left. I do love to eat my two meals and have an occasional snack. I sleep a lot and like to hang out with people. I am deaf but I watch your every move so I know what’s going on. I do have cataracts but can see fairly well. I like to run around the yard and I do this quite well for an old man!

So if you find it in your heart and home to take me in, this an old poodle dog would truly appreciate it and would behave and enjoy your company.

Many older dogs like Puff Daddy stay in foster care for years because no one wants them. They have a good life but would very much love to be in a home with fewer dogs. Please consider an older dog if you are looking, they are very grateful when they are taken care of.

UPDATE:Jul2007, Puff Daddy was in recue for 6 months; a little more, he went to doggie heaven and is greatly missed. His foster mom misses him so....even after just a short time with him.
