Welcome to Kindness For Cats Inc!
We are a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that participates in the Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) foster program providing temporary nurturing homes for at least a few of the countless kittens and cats abandoned there. We attempt to find permanent loving homes for these kittens and cats so that they will not have to return to OCAS when their time in foster care is done. Please note Kindness For Cats currently takes in kittens & cats only from the local Animal Services; we limit to this due to limited space and resources and we feel this is where the greatest need is given the thousands of kittens and cats euthanized there yearly. We still receive requests daily from people asking for assistance with their own pets or strays and we are not able to respond to all so have created resources on this site hoping to assist that way.
