Every Month
Animals for Adoption I- at PetSmart Cedar Rapids (near Lindale/Bed Bath & Beyond) we have an adoption day from 11 - 2 pm on the 1st Saturday of each month

Animals for Adoption II - on the 2nd Saturday of each month we will be at Petco at 1450 Twixt Town Road (across Collins Road from Lindale Mall) in Marion, IA from 11:00am - 2:00pm. We'll bring animals and have shelter staff on hand to answer questions and help fill out adoption applications.

Animals for Adoption III- on the 3rd Saturday of the month we will be at the new Petco Coralville from 11:00am - 2:00pm. We'll bring animals and have shelter staff on hand to answer questions and help fill out adoption applications. The store is located north of Coral Ridge Mall, Off I-80 - 2515 Corridor Way, Coralville Iowa.

November 1-10 PAWS Fundraisers!

1. Beautiful Bracelets
During the week of November 1 – 7, PAWS & More will be featured along with one other group, Horse Power For Life, by Three Scoops of Vanilla. The featured groups will receive 25% of all sales made through the company on their behalf. When the company receives an order, Erin, the owner, will contact the buyer via email to give them a ship date and ask them which of the two featured groups they are supporting with their donation. This is when you’ll say you support PAWS & More!

What IS Three Scoops of Vanilla?
Named after her three yellow labs, Three Scoops of Vanilla offers a wide variety of colorful handmade bracelets for you to choose from when making your purchase.  All pieces are handmade and with beautiful round shell beads and natural stone beads complimented with the paw print charm (the signature of the labs).  The bracelets are all made with three light amber colored beads on the end to represent the three scoops of vanilla. Three Scoops of Vanilla was founded with one main goal in mind: PAWSitively helping to support charities.

2. Delicious Boxed Chocolates!

As another way to support the shelter, we’re selling See’s Candies through November 10. P  If you’d like to place an order, or even print out the order form below and collect other orders for us, please do!

Turn  in (via in person or by mail) the orders and money to Sheila Hanson or Sue Murphy, along with all cash or checks made out to PAWS & More with CANDY on the memo line. The cash or check should include 7% sales tax.

Customers will then get their candy before Thanksgiving. Shipping fees will be paid by PAWS. Sue and I can be reached at the following addresses. Sue does work in downtown Cedar Rapids so she can also make arrangements to meet you in Cedar Rapids. For any Iowa City orders, we can make arrangements as well. If anyone collects orders (ie, your neighbors, co-workers, etc.), we ask that you be responsible for delivering those orders.
