To
Become a Foster Home
We
are in need of volunteers like yourself, who want to
dedicate their time and talent as a foster home. We
need loving and caring people to foster our dogs and
cats, to take the time to socialize and learn their
personality, so we can place them in the correct environment.
We need volunteers who want to help teach these animals
to trust humans and how to become good family pets.
This
person must understand that it takes patience,
understanding, and commitment to properly foster a
pet. Food, kennels, litter, and all medical expenses
are paid for by Partners for Pets. The foster
pets are the PROPERTY OF PARTNERS FOR PETS at
all times, until the time that the pet being fostered
has been properly adopted and adoption fees paid.
There
are no discounts for the adoption if you choose to
foster but you are eligible to adopt the fostered pet.
You may be asked for an in home inspection before we
agree to approve your home as a foster home. You
will be required to fill out an application to foster
and are required to volunteer for two Saturdays or Sundays at
PetsMart before the foster home can be approved.
