If you want to report abuse/neglect:
Please be advised, all abuse and neglect calls can remain 100% anonymous. It is VERY important for you to leave us contact information. By leaving your contact information we can then call or e-mail to update you on the situation. Please call or call and e-mail as much of the following that you can.

Please note the following: If you are calling about a dog on a short lead, lacking shelter, or lacking food or water please do NOT feed, water or provide the dog with shelter. If we report to the house and these situations have been rectified we cannot take action even if you admit to feeing, watering, or providing the dog with shelter. The same would apply for many similar situations.
If it is an immediate medical emergency: a downed dog/cat or active abuse please call our phone line (815)224-0061 for the emergency number provided in the message and your local police department.
As dissapointing as it there are situations that you or us would consider neglectful but they may not break any laws, thus we will not be able to take any action.
If you have LOST a dog:
Please e-mail (preferably) us at ivanimalrescue@yahoo.com and include the following information. To make it easy you can copy and paste the following into a blank e-mail. By providing the following information you help us reunite you with your pet if we have him/her, or have received a call on him/her.

Include a picture if possible.
Also-Call the animal control for your county and those of the surrounding counties. Dogs without collars are only given 3 days. (Remember your dog's collar could have easily fallen off)
