Here is a set of pictures of one of our newest Hurricane Katrina rescues, Daisy, and her delivery of 9 pups. I was there for the birth of pups # 7 and # 8. The picture of # 7 is the one in my hands. He weighed 9 ounces. All of them went from 6-10 ounces. It was an amazing experience as I had never seen that in person before.

p.s. Cindy R. and her family took on the pregnant Daisy and they went through the birthing with such calm expertise and diligently assisted in the births. Each of the 9 bouncing babies were all weighed routinely to show their progress and kept after with the utmost of care. They have all found wonderful new homes and when 8 weeks of age they will fill the hearts and homes with their permanent families.
