We are open for visitors Thursdays 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. -2 p.m. (closed for holidays). All animal intakes are scheduled ahead of time by our intake committee. Please click here for our intake policies. Any animals abandoned at our facility will be taken to Greenfield Animal Management.

I’ve lost/found an animal. What can I do?
For a lost animal, we can check our bulletin board and flyers we have posted. For an animal you have found, we can post information on our bulletin board, and you are welcome to bring a flyer to our shelter. You should also contact Greenfield Animal Management at 317-477-4367. They are located at 809 S. State Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. You can also place a free ad with the Greenfield Daily Reporter for 3 days. Call 317-467-6000.
Do you know where I can get low-cost vaccinations for my pet?
We offer low-cost vaccination clinics in the spring, usually May-July. Please check our website in the spring for details, or email us for more information.
How do I become a volunteer at your shelter?
We need volunteers! Please click here for information on volunteering. You must be 15 years or older to volunteer without a parent. (We are unable to provide community service hours for probation or court-ordered purposes.)
There’s a stray/dead animal in my neighborhood. Who do I contact?
My pet is very ill/old and I cannot afford to euthanize it. Where can I go?
