uWelcome
Come by and visit...
Welcome to the Humane Society of Marshall County, Kentucky! Our beautiful new facility opened in December, 2006 and is centrally located in the heart of the Kentucky Lake recreation areas. The convenient location on Highway 68, just 5.5 miles southeast of Draffenville, better serves the entire county and offers room for future expansion. With over 3,000 square feet, we can now accommodate a larger number of both dogs and cats and offer many improvements in the housing, viewing and daily care of the animals. We also hope you will add our website to your "favorites" so you can view the available animals any time you want. Whatever your purpose for visiting or supporting the Society, you will surely take pride in one of the area's most valuable community services.

Adopt A Pet Day...
The 1st Annual Adopt A Pet Day/Microchip Clinic was held at Walmart on June 21st. It was a great event for the Humane Society.  Many people stopped by to visit with the animals.  The event provided an opportunity for individuals to become familiar with the Humane Society and how the animals are cared for.

Our Very Special Volunteers...
Our youth volunteer program is going strong at the Humane Society.  The volunteers are learning compassion and how to care for homeless pets while they are waiting to be adopted into forever homes. These very special helpers are so appreciated by the staff and certainly loved by all of our pets.
