uWelcome
Come by and visit...
Welcome to the Humane Society of Marshall County, Kentucky! Our beautiful new facility opened in December, 2006 and is centrally located in the heart of the Kentucky Lake recreation areas. The convenient location on Highway 68, just 5.5 miles southeast of Draffenville, better serves the entire county and offers room for future expansion. With over 3,000 square feet, we can now accommodate a larger number of both dogs and cats and offer many improvements in the housing, viewing and daily care of the animals. We hope you will add our website to your "favorites" so you can view the available animals often. We also hope you will take pride in one of the area's most valuable community services.

uSociety News
Thank You!
The Humane Society wants to express our appreciation to everyone that assisted in making our two May fundraisers a great success.

The Walmart Adoption Day and Microchip Clinic brought in a total of $1,397.45.  This includes $299.58 that Walmart donated from their cookout for us.  Adoption fees were $560; microchips $270; donations $137.87, decals $10; magnetics $10; and clothing items $110.

The yard sale brought in $1,616.83, plus we sold several tee shirts on that day.  Since then we have brought in $41.  Some nicer glass items before the sale was taken to the Twin Lakes Antique Mall, to be put in the showcase that they have set up for us at not cost to us, and new/good clothing items have been taken to a consignment store in Paducah.  We still have the new motorcycle helmet to sell that has been put on the web, along with the garage door.

Both events took a group effort, and we had a great group of people for both events.

Thank you -
