Our rescued dogs are to be adopted as "inside" family pets. The dogs in our care have been rescued from terrible and often horrific conditions, we want nothing more than for them to be treasured members of your family. Home visits will be made when possible and vet references will be checked once we have received and processed your adoption application. The adoptive family must provide a substantial fenced in area for the dog and adequate amounts of daily exercise.

Dogs are not to be left outside staked-out on a cable, rope, chain, or other means of restraint. Underground electric fencing systems DO NOT WORK with Bloodhounds. Strong, sturdy fences are required for the adoption of Bloodhounds.

Regular veterinarian care must be provided for the animal. This includes, but not limited to, yearly heartworm testing, monthly heartworm and flea & tick prevention, and yearly shots (distemper, canine adenovirus-2, canine parvovirus-2, and rabies).
