Who We Are -
Pawsibilities Unleashed is a therapy pet and service dog organization run by
a small group of dedicated volunteers in Central Kentucky. In addition to
doing therapy work with our own animals, we also rescue potential therapy pets,
service dogs, and companion animals from local shelters, humane societies, and
rescues. Because the dogs we rescue will have such important jobs, we
select our dogs based on the temperament of the animal. Temperament is
always our number one priority and any dog that shows us unacceptable
temperament is not accepted into our program. We have 2 professional
trainers that assess our dogs for entrance into the program, and we use the
highest standards to evaluate the dogs.
We feel strongly that it is unethical for any
rescue of any kind to place dangerous dogs. We will not accept dogs that have
attacked another dog or bitten any human. Please do not ask.

Our goal - To find homes for our animals in which
they will do therapy or service work. Therapy work is community service
work and involves visiting hospitals, nursing homes, schools, libraries, mental
health facilities, etc. with your pet. If you're not currently doing
therapy work but you want to start, we can help.
Service work can include seizure alert, seizure response,
hearing dogs, mobility help, and many more. Contact us for more info.
