East Coast German Wirehaired Pointer Rescue is an all volunteer Non-Profit organization dedicated to finding homes for German Wirehaired Pointers who have become homeless through no fault of their own along the Eastern Seaboard.   Needy dogs come from shelters or as owner surrenders.  We take care of their immediate needs and place them into permanent, loving homes.

**Please note: we are an all-volunteer organization, and sometimes it will take a few days before you hear from someone. We do our best to contact potential adopters within 72 hours, but it is not always possible. Please be patient with us. Given our strained time resources, we ask that if you are interested in a particular dog that you submit an application first, before writing to inquire about a dog. ALL adopters must fill-out an adoption application.**
