Keisha main

This lovely little girl is only 35 lbs and her owner sadly is in the hospital fighting lung cancer and not expected to come home. So now Keisha waits at the shelter in hopes of someone wanting her at 8 yr old. She is excellent with kids and all people and all the things you'd want in a companion.. housetrained, loves to walk with you and easily rests and settles as you choose to. She is healthy, friendly, easy going and a happy girl with lots of love to give.  Won't you consider Keisha as your new companion! A wise and loyal dog, ready to sit or walk by your side through all the days of her life. Sadly since arrival to us, Keisha has not liked any other dogs or cats.. so we want her in a home as an only pet.

She loves to play ball and will bring it back to you each time.. she is not a fan of other dogs but this is one fantastic dog and deserves the love of a good home.

(Foster) Home is
Where the Heart is

Do you have room in your heart and home to foster a dog who is waiting for his or her forever home?  We’ve got some wonderful dogs who are in desperate need of foster homes—can you help give them a second chance?  We’ll provide food and medical care—you just provide the love!

Check out, My Wife Brought Home Another Guy and I Fell in Love with Him, a heartfelt letter from a foster dad to his newly-adopted foster dog.

Foster home

“For me a house or an apartment becomes a home when you add one set of four legs, a happy tail, and that indescribable measure of love that we call a dog.”
