Saturday, November 22, 2014 beginning at 9:30 a.m. we will be at the DECA Fair at the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. This is a big craft fair not to be missed. We will have a table with gifts for pets and people. We'll kick off our holiday raffle. Plus, we always bring along one of our cuties. We are usually in front of the school store. Please stop by and say hi.


Friday, November 28, 2014 at Pawsibilities Thrift Shoppe. Anyone who comes to the thrift shop from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. dressed in pajamas will get a discount off their purchases. Also, shoppers can enjoy homemade cookies while they shop.


Picture of a cookbook We are planning to publish a cookbook with lots of recipes from our friends. You can share your favorites with us for publication through email (See "Contact Us" below) or bring them to the shelter. Type or clearly print your recipes. Include your name and phone number. Deadline for acceptance is December 1, 2014.

Adopt a bunny from Iron Moose farm located in Norway, ME. They rescue stray rabbits and currently have 30 rabbits that need homes. They do not breed their rabbits. For more information call Iron Moose Farms at 207 744-9444.

The first and third Wednesday of each month at Well Point Veterinary Service, 86 Roberts Rd in Norway. Male cats are $40. Female cats are $60; in-heat $66. A current rabies vaccine is required or one will be given to the cat at an additional charge. Call 207 743-6441 for more info or to reserve a spot.
