We are an
organization here to help pets, the public, and other rescue
organizations. We are a No-Kill foster home rescue with 501(c)3
non-profit status.
For pets taken in by ARC, we provide a safe haven and adoption availability
to a
well-matched home. For those pets that are not adopted, we provide sanctuary
status for their lifetime.
We also have a strong emphasis on owner education. Knowing why a pet behaves aS it does
helps you understand how to re-shape an unwanted behavior - or encourage those that
are wanted. Most pets are turned in to rescues because of behavior "problems" which
can be changed when the owner knows what to do. It may take some time, but we hope to help.
To the public, we offer assistance with pet behavior issues (in-depth for felines) and
questions, selection of which pet and/or breed would be suitable for
your lifestyle, and contacts with appropriate rescue groups.
Rescue organizations may call us to get a pet on TV and let people know who and
where you are. Our goal is for all
pets to find a good home, not just the ones directly under ARC's care.

ARC pets live in foster homes. As most of the foster "parents" work (to
support these pets), visiting the pets is typically on weeknights
and weekends. Times to visit are based on what is convenient for you
and possible for the foster home and can be set up when we return your
call or e-mail. Foster homes allow the pets to live in a stress-free and cage-free
environment while waiting for you.

PET PICTURES WITH SANTA CLAUS!
For only $10 you'll receive digital pictures with Santa Claus allow you to select your best poses. You can take as many poses a you want.
We then send them directly to an on-line site you can access whenever you like (discs wil be available if you prefer).
This allows you to print out the poses, size of prints and as many copies as you want or send them out via e-mails
and FB pages -
all for much more flexibility in choices and much lower cost to you. Proceeds go directly to vet bills and pet care
needs of the ARC animals.
Any pets and/or people are Welcome! For the safety, as well as comfort of everyone,
please have your dogs on leashes and other pets in carriers.
Even if your pet is calm and nice, other animals may be very excited.
BAKE SALE!
Same place, time and location as the Pet Pictures with Santa. Our volunteers will be making homemade goodies just in time
for the holidays. Whether you are looking for a tasty snack or a gift to take to a hostess, you'll find something just right for
the occassion. Not only will there be the "usual" fare of sweets, but we'll also have some gluten-free treats and sugar-free
treats as well. Of course we can't forget out pet friends - we'll have homemade too. YUM!!!
