Fortunate Feline Adoption League is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization dealing primarily in kittens/cats and from time-to-time puppies/dogs. We are staffed with dedicated volunteers who love animals and are trying to SAVE THE WORLD ONE KITTY AT A TIME. Our most important goal is to find permanent loving homes for our fortunate felines.
Our animals are checked by a veterinarian, dewormed and have received age appropriate vaccines. Kittens and adult cats are FELV/FIV tested. While in our care, at the appropriate age, our animals will be spayed or neutered.
If you are thinking about opening your heart and home to a new pet, it's important to choose the right pet for your family and lifestyle. Fortunate Feline Adoption League holds adoptions on most Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Petco on Gratiot at 9 Mile Road in Eastpointe. Please check our event calendar.
During the week, our animals may be viewed at the Adoption Center at the Petco on Gratiot at 9 Mile Road in Eastpointe.
If you are interested in one of our animals, please click here to complete our Adoption Screening Application. An adoption coordinator will call to discuss the application. All adoptions are pending approval.
Adoption fees and donations are the only source of income for Fortunate Feline Adoption League. All the money we receive goes to pay the day-to-day expenses of caring for our animals and veterinary costs.
We are always in need of blankets, litter, quality cat food (dry and wet), cat toys (new please).
