We are a "NO KILL" organization located in lower SE Michigan. Our dogs can be found in many surrounding states, from California to Maine, and even Canada! If you want one of our dogs, we will make it happen!
We specialize in animal relocation and transportation. We will rescue any animal in need, although we temperament test and cannot accept aggressive behavior under any circumstances, we also have weight and age restrictions set in place for the comfort of the animal and the space in which they must share while they are here! If we can't handle it, we can probably refer you to someone that can.
Hey guys, although we have had many of the so called "bully breeds" coming through our doors here at DHK, we can't take them anymore because of a change of insurance, now that is demanding a $5,000+ retainer fee. We love these breeds, and know that many of you do too. We will have to rely on some of the pure breed rescues in the area that are able to help us.
