Midwest Small Breed Rescue gave second chances to over 1000 homeless dogs as of 2011. Many of these dogs could have been euthanized – such as Elle, a sweet little Chihuahua who was discarded by a puppy mill because she couldn't produce puppies. Poor Elle had severe luxating patellas in both back legs and could barely walk. We paid for Elle's surgery and today she is a happy, healthy little girl. Or there's little Vivian who was found as a stray weighing 3 pounds and nothing but skin and bones. Vivian was extremely malnourished and full of infection. Today, Vivian is healthy and in her forever home. The list goes on and on.
Since inception, Midwest Rescue has saved over 1000 dogs and with your assistance we will be able to affect the lives of many more dogs that need our help. Our only income to pay for expenses comes from adoption fees and generous donations from people like you.
