Who We Are

What We Do

We are a small private rescue in Minnesota and Wisconsin devoted to helping Persians and Himalayans in need of re-homing.

We operate solely on the financial and physical support of our direct volunteers.

Where We Are

Minnkota Persian Rescue is run entirely by volunteer foster homes. We have foster homes in Wisconsin and Minnesota. We do not have a physical shelter location.

Foster homes are desperately needed in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Call or email today if you can help save a life!

How To Adopt

Click on the application link if you are interested in adopting an animal on our list or email us if you would like to be placed on our waiting list for adoption.

All cats listed below are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and feline leukemia/FIV negative unless otherwise noted.

Standard adoption fee is $150. Adoption fees go towards the rehabilitation and foster care of the next rescued cats. Many desperately need our help.

Available for Adoption

Most of our rescue cats are adopted before needing to be placed on Adoption sites like Petfinder. Many start as foster families (below) and adopt the cat they're fostering. If you are looking to adopt a Persian, contact us and we will add you to our database of potential adopters.

Available for Foster

If you are interested in becoming a foster-to-adopt or a foster home, please contact up at minnkota.gmail.com. We ALWAYS need foster homes. In the last year, the vast majority of Persians coming through our rescue have been foster-to-adopt families that have chosen to adopt who they are fostering.
