What a crappy life I might have had,
Had it not been for my new Mom and Dad.
Chained to a tree,
With nothing to see.
I may never have felt a kind touch,
Or discovered life could provide, ...oh, so much.
And then came my saviors,
Gentle, loving hands they were.
They took me home,
And fed me, loved me...and I'm no longer alone!
We play with my toys and fall into bed,
What a wonderful day I have had!
They taught me to walk nice on a leash,
...with people, and dogs and,...oh, how I wish I could speak!
I'd tell you I'm happy
And life's not so crappy.
I've learned how to love,
and my heart soars like a dove.

For it could mean another Rottie may soon wag his tail!
