Our Sponsor Page for our Cockers with medical conditions and other needs.
Rarely do fully vetted, healthy dogs end up in rescue. Instead the majority of the dogs who come to our rescue have little or no known history of vet care. Exams, vaccines, heartworm and fecal testing, spaying/neutering, grooming, heartworm pills and flea control, and daily care for an unvetted dog in good health costs an average of $250 for the first 4 - 6 weeks in rescue. Many dogs stay in rescue much longer than that and the costs continue to rise. Therefore, when a dog comes to our rescue with extra medical needs such as heartworm treatment, surgical, dental, or other needs the funds must come from sources other than adoption fees alone. This is where sponsors come in. Sponsorship is critical in addressing these extra medical needs. Folks, any amount, even Ten Dollars is so much appreciated. Please give, so we can give these cockers the medical attention they need. Please read their stories below and feel free to contact us for more information concerning any of the dogs on this page.

Buffy 2 is in extreme need of dental work !
Buffy 2 is a beautiful red and white 8 year old female cocker spaniel. Unfortunately for Buffy and Slippers they lost the only home they have known. The elderly couple was no longer able to take care of them so they have come to rescue to find a new forever home. Buffy is spayed, current on all shots, heart worm negative. She would do best in an all adult home since she has only known living with an older couple. Buffy is dog social and is in shock right now with all that has recently happened to her. She is warming up to folks now.
Buffy 2 is extremely thin because she has a hard time eating due to all her bad teeth. She needs dental work asap, before her health seriously declines. Her dental treatment is estimated to cost $200.00. If you could contribute any amount, please use the PayPal button below. If you wish you can use the Contact Us Link and email us concerning other methods of donating. All of us at Charlotte Cocker Rescue thanks you for your kindness.

Our darling Sienna needs our help!
2/4 Hi I'm Sienna and I'm an honorable Cocker Spaniel. I'd like to think that I'm as cute as a cocker spaniel and I know that I will give you years of love and companionship just like my cocker friends will. I would really like to have a home of my own. I had one once but then something sad happened but luckily these nice people came and saved me! I really like it here but there is nothing like having a home of my own. I know that I'm a little older...I like to say that I'm more mature...which means you won't have to worry about all those silly things puppies do! Please fill out an application and let these nice people know that you are interested in Sienna! You won't regret it!!
Sienna is an adorable Eskie that came to us with Cassie a cocker mix. We got Sienna at Easter when her owner died and was turned in to animal control in the mountains. Unfortunately the shelter like many stated she was cocker spaniel and we found out as soon as we got them neither were cocker kids but an Eskie girl and a cocker/lab mix. Mixes are very hard for us to place but they still didn't deserve to die. We couldn't send them back as the shelter was going to put them down. Sienna was said to be about 9 years old but is more like 10 years or older. Our hope she could be adopted and given a loving home of her very own.
Sienna is a sweet gentle girl. She loves to stand up on her back legs wanting attention. She loves treats and is geniuely very adorable girl. Will you open your heart to give her a loving home for her senior years? We want much better for these homeless animals and don't they deserve that too? Just imagine your life being dumped in a shelter with no way of getting out or having someone love you for your last days on earth? This is how the animals feel but thank goodness God gave them the abliity to be forgiving and loving. Will you give Sienna a loving forever home? She might be an older girl but she is healthy.
Sienna has fatty tumors and needs to have them removed as soon as possible. The cost for this treatment is estimated to cost $500.00. All of us at Charlotte Cocker Rescue thanks you for your kindness.
