"Best Friends" Feral Cat Room

HSOC's "Best Friends" Ferals in the safety and
comfort of their own "Feral Cat Room". These
are "feral" (*) cats that we rescued from the
streets. Some are "imperfect" in how they look
or act. They are too fearful to be placed in an adopter's
* = Ferals are stray cats that fear
human contact. They are rescued and brought to the shelter.
Feral cats may have been once domesticated pets that were
abandoned and ended up fearful of humans. Their kittens end
up the same, since their mothers taught them to avoid human
contact. Ferals are nearly impossible to domesticate; thus
hardly anyone wants to adopt them.
- Did you always want a
cat, but couldn't have one? Allergies, Grouchy Landlord,
Stubborn Spouse, or whatever? If you have room in your
heart, their flaws won't matter.You can personally help a
"Best Friend" feral cat by sponsoring
it with a few reasonable donations. HSOC will ensure
loving care for your sponsored cat. If you sponsor a
"Best Friend", we will send you a story and a
framed color photo of your "Best Friend". You
