Hello,

My name is Frankie, and I am a one-year-old purebred Shih Tzu. When START II rescued me from a high kill shelter, they realized I had been hit by a car and had a broken shoulder. I underwent orthopedic surgery on January 6, 2010 to repair it, and now I have two external pins that have to stay in place until my bones heal. I'm being well taken care of by my foster family, but am looking for a forever home. My foster mom says I am really sweet and loving. If you are interested in having me come live with you, please contact the people at START II. My vet bills to date are over $2,000. Any donations to help cover some of the costs for my surgery and future medical care would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
