Our Mission
Pekingese Rescue Network, Inc. is a registered non-profit corporation dedicated to the rehoming of Pekingese in need. We are committed volunteers working to rescue & rehome Pekingese. We foster all of our adoptable Pekes in private homes and rely on donations for veterinary and rescue costs. Dotti is our Founder/Director of Pekingese Rescue Network Inc. Dotti is a member of the Pekingese Club of America and Pekingese Club of New Jersey and Colony Pekingese Club of New York. She and our wonderful volunteers are dedicated to the rescue of our little Pekingese. We adopt out Pekingese to new homes in all U.S. states.
Many Pekes don't get adopted in dog pounds because they have been neglected, with infected or missing eyes, injured backs, rotten teeth, horribly matted fur, or bad Attitudes due to fear. We rescue Pekes that would otherwise be killed. We clean them up, take them to the vet, and provide short or long-term foster homes for them. These Pekes need hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars worth of vet care. The adoption donation does not usually cover our vet and grooming expenses. We depend on donations from Pekingese lovers to help make ends meet. If you know of a little Pekingese in need please contact us immediately so we may help.
