We need foster homes for both dogs and cats. The animals really thrive in a home environment, which allows them to develop the social skills necessary for the well-being of both pet and pet-owner. If you can open up your home to a homeless animal, please contact:

ADOPTION DAYS AT PETSMART LANGHORNE

We need volunteers to hold and walk dogs on Satudays from 12-4. For cats, we need volunteers willing to help with such tasks as setting up and breaking down cages, making sure the cats have water and food in their cages at all times, litterbox servicing, holding cats and kittens, and helping to facilitate adoptions. Cat adoptions always take place on Friday nights 6:30-9 and Saturdays 12-4, but we often also have adoptions Saturday evenings 4-8 and Sunday afternoons 12-4. (Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older; volunteers under the age of 18 are welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian.)

VOLUNTEERING AT THE SHELTER IN TRENTON

We need volunteers to help walk and bathe dogs and to help tend to and socialize cats at the shelter. Additionally, there are a great many other tasks with which we could use assistance, from clean-up to clerical. If you have an able pair of hands and the time on weekdays to devote, we can put you to work helping to save the lives of homeless animals.
