CCSPCA 2009 DOG OF THE YEAR?

ROSCOE

Every animal has his own little eccentricities, but I’ve never met any animal like Roscoe.  He’s my 3 year old mutt that I adopted from CCSPCA when he was a chubby little puppy.  Roscoe has many quirks, but he is always there no matter what; that’s why I love him so much.  One can usually find Roscoe running around in a continuous circle around our house.  When he’s not tiring himself out, I usually find him lying on his bed watching birds and wildlife from our sliding glass door.  Roscoe always has a longing look as if he wants to run with deer or fly with birds.  Even though his best friends, Lucky and Brandy who were also rescued by our family don’t like to romp outside as much as he does, he still feels the need to be outside constantly.  Every time I get home from a long stressful day at school, he sits up and paws at me to pet him. He is such a loving ball of fun who is always there to cuddle up with.  He is always there in any situation with his usual quirks and unconditional love.  My sister and myself say if we could ever find a guy with Roscoe’s personality, we would marry him.
