North Texas Spay Neuter Coalition

898 Fossil Ridge Road
Decatur, TX 76234
Call and leave a message anytime.
The cost depends on the participating veterinarian. It runs approximately $30 for a cat spay, $20 for a cat neuter, $50 for a dog spay depending on the size, and $40 for a dog neuter. When you call, a volunteer will give you the name of the nearest participating veterinarian. The owner calls the veterinarian for an appointment. Rabies vaccinations are $7.00.

Most participating veterinarians require at a minimum current rabies vaccinations prior to the surgery. If you do not bring proof of rabies vaccination with you to the surgery appointment, they will require your pet to have a rabies shot before they perform the surgery. You may want to check with the veterinarian you select ahead of time to see if they have any additional vaccination requirements. Click here for low-cost vaccination information.
