Enter to Win, and Help Animals In Need!
This beautiful painting was donated by a local animal lover to help homeless animals in Shelburne County. Created by Joseph Purcell, world renowed Nova Scotia artist, it is valued at well over $500.
A raffle draw will take place on November 24th, 2009 --- tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5, with all proceeds going to provide food, shelter, and medical care for homeless pets! Click here to learn more, or to purchase tickets online!

Did you know...?
- All of our pets are FREE to adopt; we just ask for a minimum adoption donation of $30 to help the next animal in need!
- No government agency funds us, so we rely on DONATIONS from our community to help cover the costs of vet care.
- Our cost per cat for spay/neuter, de-worm/de-flea, food/kitty litter is between approximately $100 for a male and $200 for a female (see our Frequently Asked Questions to see the cost breakdown).
- When a cat or dog is adopted, that makes space in our foster care system for the next lost or injured animal that needs our care.
Visit our "How to Adopt" page to find out more. We thank you for being a part of the solution!
