Getting involved

It is easy to be overwhelmed by the size of the problem, but at PET Projects we know we can only do so much --- that is why we are committed to helping one animal at a time. However, the more volunteers and supporters we can mobilize, the more lives we can save! If you're interested in joining the PET team, fill out this survey to let us know the areas you are interested in and the talents you have! Below are a just a few of the ways you can get involved:

Donate time, money and resources

It takes a community effort to help lost, abandoned and mistreated animals. Here are some of our greatest needs:

  • Dog and cat food.
  • Kitty litter.
  • Transportation of animals (to and from the vet, foster homes, etc.).
  • Funds for spaying and neutering, routine and emergency vet care, and foster care supplies; tax receipts are available. You can now donate securely online through Paypal!

If you could provide any of these things, on a one time basis or more regularly, please contact us - any amount or effort, big or small, would be so appreciated!

Become a foster parent

We are using a foster network of reliable and loving people who are opening their hearts to animals who need a place to live until we can find them a "forever-home." The scope of the PET Projects program is only limited by the number of temporary homes available for stray and abandoned cats and dogs. If you are interested, please contact us and we will let you know more about what it means to be a PET Projects foster parent, or apply online and begin the process. It is a wonderful way to give back to animals who give so much to us!
