At this time we are rolling out a new program for “Cage Sponsorship”, which allows members to sponsor an animal's cage, either dog, cat or bird for a period of one month, six months or one year.
This will allow the sponsorship funds assigned to that cage to stay with that cage, regardless of whether or not that particular animal is adopted. Cage Sponsorship could actually benefit more than one animal depending on the length of time your particular sponsorship runs.
For example, if you want to sponsor a dog cage for six months, and the dog that is presently in that particular cage is adopted, the next dog to be placed in that cage is automatically sponsored for the remaining length of time or until that dog is adopted and so on.
There is a plaque placed on the cage with the sponsor's name for the length of the sponsorship. Anyone coming into the shelter to view the animals will see the sponsorship plaque with the sponsor's name.
