Oh No!! It is still raining kittens!
Apparently the stray cats all over the Island have been having a regular party this year, as we are absolutely inundated with kittens at the current time. We have kittens ranging in age from 6 weeks to 6 months, in every conceivable color and design. They are incredibly cute, and we have rescued a LOT of them in the past few weeks.
We find it very hard to turn away a mother and young kittens (any animal, really, but especially the babies), so at this time we are looking high and low for people who are interested in adopting a kitten or two. If you already have a cat, a kitten can be a wonderful companion for your lonely feline. If you have two, what's one more?
If your circumstances do not allow you to adopt, please consider fostering. A cat condo, food, etc. will be provided for you -- you will provide lots of TLC and basic care. As a foster parent, you truly make a difference in the fate of these animals. Please call any of the numbers on this site if you can help. It is urgently needed!
Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.
