WHO WE ARE
Maple Hill Farm Toy Breed Rescue is a group of small dog lovers trying to make a difference in the lives of unwanted animals. Our goal is to help rescue and find homes for homeless dogs and, in particular, the dogs once used for breeding in commercial breeding facilities also known as puppymills.
We do not have a shelter so all of our dogs are kept in experienced, loving foster homes. For some of our dogs, this is their first experience living in a home and learning just how special the human touch can be. We work hard at socializing and loving them until they are ready to be adopted. It is our desire to match the perfect dog to the perfect new forever home.
All of our dogs have been completely vetted. They are up-to-date on all shots, heartworm negative and on preventative when in season. All dogs have been spayed/neutered unless they are deemed too young by our vets. These dogs will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract.
THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE ADOPTING
If you are thinking about opening your heart and home to a new pet, it's important to choose the right pet for your family and lifestyle. Remember, the decision to get a pet should always be a family decision, not just one made by the kids or mom and dad. After all, everyone is going to play a part in taking care of this new family member. Please read this article before adopting.
If you are ready to adopt, please complete our adoption application. We require a veterinarian reference and two personal references. Once you've submitted your application, please contact your references to give them permission to release information to us.
If your application is approved, our adoption coordinator will contact you. Please be patient as this process could take several days. All adoptions are pending approval.
