Fostering:

Do you have a quiet room and a good heart? That is all that's needed to foster kittens or a pregnant mom.  We supply everything else: food, toys, dishes, pans, litter, blankets, vet care and anything else that's needed.  Without our foster homes we are not able to rescue the number of cats we do each year. 

We also have had many requests for foster homes for Senior's cats. It is a very sad situation when an elderly person must go into the hospital and no one will take her cats until she can return home.

Goodies:

Have a cat at home that needs some new toys?  Our homemade cat nip toys, cozy cat beds and blankets are available year round at WESTERN ANIMAL CLINIC and MT. BRIDGES ANIMAL CLINIC.  All of the proceeds we make off of these goodies help us to rescue as many animals as possible each year. 

Donations:

Backyard Friends is always in need of donations such as food for the kittens and moms, toys or anything else cat related.  Donations can also be made at WESTERN ANIMAL CLINIC on the Backyard Friends account. All money donated will go directly for the vet care of the animals we save.   If you have donations please contact backyard_friends@yahoo.com
