RECIPES
Kitty Litter Cake (for those with a strong stomach!)
- 2 boxes of German chocolate cake mix
- 2 large packages instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 (12 ounce) package vanilla sandwich cookies
- a few drops of green food coloring
- 1 (12 ounce) package tootsie rolls
- 1 NEW, clean Litter Pan
- 1 NEW, clean litter scoop
Directions:
- Prepare cake mixes and bake according to package directions in square or rectangle pans
- Prepare pudding according to package directions and chill until ready to assemble.
- Crumble sandwich cookies in small batches in a food processor, scraping often. Set aside all but 1/4 cup. To the 1/4 cup add a few drops of green food coloring and mix.
- When cakes are cooled to room temperature. Cut to fit into Litter box.
- Pour pudding over entire cake, making a nice layer.
- Pour crumbled cookie crumbs over entire layer of pudding, no pudding showing.
- Place 5 tootsie rolls in the microwave for about 15 seconds. Twist or mold, shaping the ends so that they are no longer blunt, and curve the tootsie rolls slightly. Bury tootsie rolls randomly in the cake and sprinkle with half of the remaining cookie crumbs. Sprinkle a small amount of the green colored cookie crumbs lightly over the top. Heat more tootsie rolls and randomly place throughout litter box
- Serve with the pooper scooper for a gross dessert.
To remove skunk smell
Mix together:
- 1 qt 3% hydrogen peroxide
- 1/4 c baking soda
- 1 tsp liquid soap / dishwashing detergent
Thoroughly wet pet with mixture, knead into coat avoiding the eyes, nose, and mouth. You can use a
sponge to apply the mixture to the face. Let it work for a while, then rinse well with clear water.
Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits
- 2 Tablespoons corn oil
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 cups white flour

Mutt Meatballs
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 carrot, finely chopped/grated
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg, whisked
- 1 tsp tomato paste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Scoop out by the spoonful and roll into mini-size meatballs. Please the meatballs on a cookie sheet. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Store in refrigerator.
Feast for a Feline
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup dry rice
- 2 tsp corn oil
- 1/2 teaspoon iodized salt
- 2/3 cup ground meat
- 1 TBSP bonemeal
- 2 TBSP cooked liver
Bring water to a boil, add rice, corn oil and salt. Simmer 20 minutes. Cover the meat with bonemeal and add meat and liver to the rice mixture. Simmer 15 minutes. Let cool and serve. Refrigerate or freeze leftovers.
