The shelter is located on route 68 (Evans City Road) in Connoquenessing Township, Pennsylvania, 6 miles east of Evans City.

Interstate 79 North to Butler County Humane Society

Follow Route 79 from Pittsburgh to the Evans City Exit. At the stop sign, turn right onto Route 528. Continue to the traffic light & turn right onto Route 68. Follow Route 68 through the town of Evans City. BCHS is approximately 6 miles outside of Evans City on the right side of the road. There is a sign and orange triangle markers at the end of the drive.

Route 8 North to Butler County Humane Society

Follow Route 8 North from Pittsburgh, approximately 30 miles. Turn left onto Hansen Ave. At the end of the bridge (traffic light) turn left onto Whitestown Road. Continuing on Whitestown Road, turn left at the 4th traffic light onto Route 68 West. BCHS is approximately 2 miles on the left side of the road. There is a sign & orange triangle makers at the end of the drive.

Route 8 South to Butler County Humane Society

Follow Route 8 South from Harrisville toward Butler, approximately 16 miles turn right onto Benbrook Road. Follow Benbrook Road 4.5 miles at the traffic light turn right onto Route 68. BCHS is approximately 2 miles on the left side of the road. There is a sign and orange triangle makers at the end of the drive.

Route 422 East to Butler County Humane Society

Follow Route 422 East from New Castle toward Butler, approximately 19 miles turn right onto Greenwood Drive continue for .5 miles and turn right onto Benbrook Road. At the traffic light, turn right onto Route 68. BCHS is approximately 2 miles on the left side of the road. There is a sign & orange triangle markers at the end of the drive.

Route 422 West to Butler County Humane Society

Follow Route 422 West from Kittanning toward Butler, approximately 23 miles, at the end of the bridge, turn left onto Greenwood Drive. Continue for .5 miles and turn right onto Benbrook Road. At the traffic light, turn right onto Route 68 BCHS is approximately 2 miles on the left side of the road. There is a sign & orange triangle markers at the end of the drive.
