Plain & Fancy Animal Rescue

For those who don't know already, Pennsylvania's new Dog Laws have now taken effect, and many breeders have downsized or completely closed their kennels. We've received hundreds of dogs in the last few weeks, and many more are in the pipeline to be surrendered. On Monday, December 28 alone, we received 106 dogs in one day! It's overwhelming, and we need your help! We need supplies: towels, blankets, comforters, paper towels, newspapers, Clorox Cleanup Spray, laundry detergent, exercise pens, dog beds, and shredded office paper (preferrably in long strips, not crosscut squares). We also need dog food...we are currently feeding "Kirkland" brand dog food, available from CostCo Wholesale. Donations of supplies can be dropped off at "The Total Dog and A Little Cat" in Adamstown.

We also need financial support...between heating bills, housing costs, and the Veterinary care of these animals, we are losing money at a fast pace. Adopting dogs out for $200.00 got them into their new homes quickly, but didn't cover even the cost of their spay/neuter and veterinary treatments (dental, shots, microchipping). We really need your help right now to keep going, and to keep saving their lives. Can you help?
