Though our federal and state registered address is Pittsburgh, GSP Rescue PA has volunteers and German Shorthaired Pointers in foster care throughout Pennsylvania. GSP Rescue PA cannot accept German Shorthaired Pointers that exhibit aggression or have a bite history.

Many dogs end up in shelters or rescue programs like ours for a variety of reasons. The German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue PA, Inc. is a non-profit, IRS-recognized program which responsibly nurtures and finds homes for these K-9 orphans.

We are a network of volunteers that shelter German Shorthaired Pointer dogs in our own homes. We evaluate them, get them necessary veterinary care, and provide a warm and loving home as they await their new family. Please help us by adopting a dog, becoming a volunteer, or supporting the rescue program by donating to this worthy cause.
