Online Donations Help ScreenThank you for choosing to make a donation or pay membership dues to the Pike County Humane Society!
We are excited to bring you a new way to donate using the internet.
We accept these donations through an online service called Paypal. Paypal is safe and convenient!
Below are instructions and some screen-shots that you will see during this process.
To start, click on one of the buttons on the Paypal page. The two buttons look like this:
A new browser window will open, with an introductory page containing "Payment Details". You will see
"Payment For: Donation" or "Payment For: Membership", depending on which button you click.
You will be able to enter the amount on this page.
If you have a Paypal account, you will be asked to sign on. If not, you have the option to continue anyway.
When you have entered the amount you wish to donate,
Log In to your account or click on the button if you do not have an account.
The next page is the Shipping Information screen.
You may skip this, by clicking "No Shipping Required" and continuing,
but if you are a new member or would like some type of response, please fill in the information.
The "Billing Information" page is next, where you will enter your credit card information.
Please note: Your information will be safe if your browser is secure.
To tell if your browser is secure, check the bottom right and look for a little lock. If the lock is closed, your browser is secure.
The Billing Information page looks like this:
At the bottom of the Billing Information page is a Security Measure entry box.
The weird graphic on the left will contain a string of numbers and letters.
Enter the string in the box to its right.
This is a protective measure so that programs from another website can't automatically sign on (it must be done manually).
When you have finished, you may be asked to confirm the transaction. You will also get an email confirmation.
