Important Stuff if You're Interested in Adopting

application or attach the Word application to an email and send it to
the email address below or if you're having trouble with email, call us
and we'll figure out something else.
We do require an adoption application & contract. We check Vet
references, interview families and do home visits. We ask for a nominal
adoption donation depending on the dog to help us defray the medical
expenses of the next homeless animal.
We are a non-profit organization so your donation is tax-deductible.
This donation helps with spay/neuter, treatment for heartworms, if
necessary, and any other health issues from which the rescue may be
suffering when he/she comes into our organization.
It costs us on average well over $100 more than we take in in fees per
dog to completely vet a dog. Many come to us old and frail, often sick,
making donations more critical. We are not subsidized by the government
or any foundation, but rather by only a few very good people.
Our adoption application is available on-line and we will generally
respond within 24 hours to your application and answer any initial
questions. Anyone wishing to adopt should complete the application so
the approval process is initiated. There is no obligation, on your
behalf, by filling out the application it will just introduce us to you
and your family.
