WHERE DO THE ANIMALS COME FROM?
Furever Friends rescues animals from local shelters before they are put to
sleep, rescues animals who have been abandoned, and takes in animals from
individuals who have exhausted all other options for finding new homes for
their pets.
ARE THE ANIMALS HEALTHY?
Animals who come into the Furever Friends foster system are examined by a
veterinarian, tested for heartworms (dogs) and feline leukemia and feline
AIDS (cats), wormed, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered. They are bathed and
dipped (if necessary) and treated for fleas, ticks, or mites.
HOW CAN I HELP?
Furever Friends is limited only by the number of volunteers we have. If you
are interested in becoming a foster parent, volunteering on adoption days,
helping with fund raising, or donating money, food, or equipment, please
give us a call. Furever Friends, Inc. is an animal rescue organization founded
in 1995 by experienced animal welfare volunteers who wanted to work with
local animal shelters, veterinarians, and the community to find homes for
unwanted and abandoned animals.
All CATS adopted from Furever Friends receive the following:
