Introducing Trooper !!!!!!!!

Troopers people dumped him at the pound, and the shelter workers wanted to put him in the adoption program but poor Trooper has heartworms. So not only does Trooper need a new family that will love him forever, but we desperately need funds for his very expensive heartworm treatment. Heartworms can and will kill a dog if left untreated. Please guys for anyone reading this the test is cheap and it's just one shot for six months or a monthly pill, but once a pet has it, it is VERY expensive to treat. Heartworm is a long, very painful and horrible way to die. Trooper is a dachshund mix that loves kids and other dogs.
