Directions to The Julia Wagner Animal Shelter
From I-66E or Route 522S into Front Royal:
Exit off I-66 south onto Rt. 522/340S. Cross the
two bridges over the Shenandoah River. At the traffic
light, turn left onto 14th Street. At the next traffic
light, turn left onto Commerce Avenue At the next light,
turn left onto 6th Street. Continue straight, 6th Street
turns into Happy Creek Rpad. Continue about a mile, turn
left at Shenandoah Shores Road. Cross the railroad tracks,
continue for a half mile and turn left into the Happy
Creek Technology Park (Progress Drive). The shelter is
the last facility on the left.
From I-66W or Route 55W:
Exit off I-66 at the Linden exit, turn left at the off
ramp, at light turn right onto Rt. 55W. After passing
the “Apple House Restaurant”, turn right onto Dismal
Hollow Road. Follow until stop sign, turn left onto
Happy Creek Road. Go one mile, turn right onto Shenandoah
Shores Road, and continue for less than a half mile.
Turn left into Happy Creek Technology Park (Progress
Drive). The shelter is the last facility on the left.
From Route 340N into Front Royal:
Take Rt. 340N into Front Royal. At the 2nd traffic
light after the Skyline Drive, turn right onto South
Street. Go to the 2nd light and turn left onto Commerce
Avenue. At the 4th light, turn right onto 6th Street.
Continue straight, 6th Street turns into Happy Creek Road.
Continue about a mile, turn left at Shenandoah Shores Road.
Cross the railroad tracks, continue for a half mile
and turn left into the Happy Creek Technology Park
(Progress Drive). The shelter is the last facility on
the left.
From Route 522N into Front Royal:
Take Rt. 522N into Front Royal. After the first
