Treasure, taken from Spotsylvania pound at approximately 20 years young. She had only a short 10 months in our lives, but what an impact she made. Her gentle demeanor, her quiet cry when she wanted attention or another selection of food. She had no problem climbing up on your lap and taking a nap, and you were not going to move her, that was for sure. She never hissed, cared less about the other kitties except her buddy Peako. She took to him readily. When Peako passed away, Treasure experienced a stroke, she recovered to some degree. This Thursday, she fell ill. She held on until Monday,  January  26th, when her little body could go no longer. She now is playing with Peako and taking naps in the sun, which was her favorite thing to do. We miss you and love you Treasure.
